Dunnolly Estate is situated in the stunning Waipara Valley, approximately 50 kms from Christchurch in the South Island of New Zealand.

The Waipara Valley is one of New Zealand's leading viticulture regions with more than 80 vineyards, producing many of the worlds leading wines.

According to Bob Campbell MW, it is one of the unsung heroes of the wine industry.

The Waipara Valley is characterised by dry, hot summers and low rainfall, balanced with a cold and crisp winter climate, allowing optimal ripeness and fullness of flavour. Its terroir is similar in some respects to Burgundy-France.

The Dunnolly Estate Vineyard is family owned and managed by Peter Parish. It produces both Pinot Noir and Chardonnay varietals and is currently in its 12th vintage.

DUNNOLLY Parish Family Estate PINOT NOIR 2011 Following the successful launch of our 2009 "Sophies" Pinot Noir in 2010 and then our 2010 Medal winning Pinot Noir, we have followed up with another spectacular Pinot Noir, truly representative of our vineyard terrior and our fine winemakers.

86/100 Distinctive Pinot Noir with ripe, slightly stewed, plum flavours supported by reasonable strong nutty oak. Quite a ripe style with plenty of weight and good intensity.
