Dunnolly Estate 2009 PINOT NOIR                                 “Sophie’s”

This Pinot Noir successfully entwines berry fruit and plums with spicy savoury characters developed from maturation and medium toast French barriques.

The fruits grown from clay loam soils in part their own distinctive characters giving Dunnolly Estate Pinot Noir body and extract. The wine is elegant and portrays complex characters. 


Dunnolly Estate 2010 PINOT NOIR  

The 2010 vintage was spectacular for Pinot Noir.  Dunnolly Estate Wines produced an age-worthy, single-vineyard Waipara Pinot Noir. Ruby-hued, it is a medium-bodied style, still very fresh and vibrant, with plum, cherry and spice flavours, showing good ripeness and depth, some nutty, savoury complexity and good tannin backbone.


Dunnolly Estate 2011 PINOT NOIR

The fruit was harvested at night to preserve the quality and integrity of the wine. This wine was aged in French oak barriques for 10 months before the best portions were reserved and blended together to meet this, the Dunnolly Estate Wines Pinot Noir 2011.

Aromas of rich complexity, infused with dark black cherry meshed with mocha and spice. The palate textured, broad yet balanced, revealing fruit sweetness and savoury notes that will integrate with age.


Dunnolly Estate 2012 PINOT NOIR

The fruit was picked in late autumn after leaving it time to reach optimum maturity on the vines. The wine was allowed to be aged for 15 months on a combination of new and old oak which produced excellent flavours. Nicky Parish, Winemaker describes it as rich with red fruit aromas and flavours of fresh plumb.  The blend was selected barrels of clones 777 and 10/5 parcels.  .

Elegant zestiness and nice spicy notes lead into vibrant cherry fruit that is supported with a note of cocoa and an underlying subtle nuance of truffle.


Dunnolly Estate 2013 PINOT NOIR

Winemaker Nicky Parish describes the wine as rich, opulent and generous.

Aromas of fresh plum and red currant that are edged with thyme and liquorice.

Some spicy overtones with subtle oak. Easy drinking style and worth cellaring to really gain the complexity of this wine.



Dunnolly Estate 2011 CHARDONNAY

Soft, rich, broad and accessible Chardonnay in a mellow and very drinkable style. Interesting peach, apricot, musk, guava and a hint of floral characters supported by subtle spicy oak. A distinctive and appealing style offering good value.


Dunnolly Estate 2012 CHARDONNAY

The fruit for this wine is harvested from the family accredited sustainable vineyard in the Waipara Valley.  Naturally aged in French Barriques and stainless steel before blending the selected portions to meet our high standards.

Winemaker Nicky Parish describes the palate as elegant and feminine. Light citrus flavours with a hint of biscuit. This combination of complex fruit flavours enables this light oaked Chardonnay to be shared wonderfully with food or as an aperitif.

Dunnolly Estate 2013 CHARDONNAY

Described as an interesting notes of dusty mineral, spice and chamomile combine in this crisp Chardonnay. This is an elegant cool climate Chardonnay, with balanced oak notes in the palate.  30% of the wine is oaked in French barriques, it has balanced acidity and natural fruit sweetness that is very delectable.
